Mayfair introduces Alléno’s all-day croissant dining concept - croissant dining
Chef Yannick Alléno’s croissant concept opens at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane’s Pavyllon Lounge.

A new dining concept centered on croissants has launched in London’s Mayfair district. Located in the Pavyllon Lounge at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane, La Croissanterie serves both savory and sweet croissant-based dishes daily between noon and 8:00 pm. Chef Yannick Alléno designed the menu to redefine the croissant as more than just a morning treat, extending its appeal into afternoon and early evening hours.

Savory and sweet dishes redefine the croissant

The menu features savory croissant options such as Caesar Chicken, Scottish Lobster, Arabic Lamb, and Asian Wagyu, with prices beginning at £15. Sweet selections include Hazelnut Chocolate and Almond Praliné croissants, accompanied by coffee, matcha, and specialty teas. Alléno’s signature chocolates also appear on the drinks list, reinforcing the concept’s all-day appeal.

Unlike standard bakery offerings, these croissants function as complete meals. The Scottish Lobster croissant, for instance, incorporates lobster, egg mayonnaise, smoked pike roe, and tarragon, while the Arabic Lamb croissant highlights 36-hour confit lamb shoulder. Sweet versions, like the Hazelnut Chocolate croissant, combine rich chocolate ganache with salted caramel and chocolate shavings.

The concept draws inspiration from Parisian grand cafés, where pastries play a central role in afternoon dining. Its London location makes it a convenient stop for visitors exploring Mayfair and Hyde Park. The service hours, noon to 8:00 pm, fill a gap between traditional lunch and dinner, making it ideal for an afternoon break or early supper.

This is not Alléno’s first venture in the hotel. The nearby Pavyllon London, which opened in 2023, earned a Michelin star in 2024 and maintained it in the 2026 guide. La Croissanterie expands the hotel’s dining options without replicating the fine-dining experience, instead offering a more casual, all-day alternative.

A practical addition to Mayfair’s dining options

The lounge’s position at Hamilton Place, near the edge of Mayfair, ensures accessibility for both hotel guests and local diners. Reservations can be made through Pavyllon Lounge, though walk-ins are accommodated based on availability. The concept’s ability to serve full meals in croissant form distinguishes it from typical bakery offerings.

The drinks list enhances the menu, featuring exclusive coffee blends, ceremonial-grade matcha, and Alléno’s signature chocolates. The inclusion of JING teas and cold brew options further caters to diverse tastes and preferences.

Building on Pavyllon London’s reputation

La Croissanterie operates within the same hotel as Pavyllon London, Alléno’s first Michelin-starred restaurant in the city. While Pavyllon London delivers a refined fine-dining experience, the lounge provides a more accessible introduction to Alléno’s cuisine. This dual approach allows guests to experience his food in different formats, whether through a full meal at Pavyllon London or a lighter croissant-based dish in the lounge.
