How to Act Like an Adult and Still Have an Adventure

There are times when all I do is to daydream. At that time I was just 13 years old. I often would just sit for hours inside the closet and daydream. It was that time that I just imagine myself as a country singer and put more into my postcard collection. That time, the popularity of the female country singers is so massive. I just would sing my favorite country songs. Often I got told to keep my singing down as my sister was livid from downstairs. I pretended to be a country singer while I was on tour. Even if I was on the go I was with my postcard collection.

I was at a time in my life I wanted to discover a lot. I wanted to be on tour even I just got married. Together with my husband I toured the nation five times. I visited Arizona and Utah and New England, New Mexico and the Pacific Nortwest. We traveled without any itinerary. We asked the locals where to visit places and where to eat. We booked the hotel rooms without reservations and went out to get more for my postcard collection.

We are having babies, we could no longer travel as much as we used do. We can’t make time off work to travel. I didn’t much time to expand my postcard collection.

The key thing here is to know how to plan your trips and enjoy it. Planning out things can be the best thing to do in order to expand my postcard collection. Book the trips in advance and be able to take advantage of the bargain prices that can save you a lot of money.

It is best to work with a solid budget and stick with the money you have with you. It is best to travel in a group since it is less expensive that way. Traveling in a group may help you gain better insights and how to go about traveling for more fun.

My husband and I wanted to see more places and discover new things, perhaps add more to my postcard collection. We are not just going to give up our travels because we have a lot of responsibilities on our plate. While we’re adults with plenty of responsibilities, bills to pay, children to rear, we need to stand up for what we need to do. It is not impossible to have a road trip and it can be truly a reward if we are able to do it right. As we desire things we need to be determined how to put things in the proper perspective.
